We’re proud to be backing Jessica, a talented young dancer from New Zealand, as she prepares to represent Aotearoa on the global stage at the 2025 Hip Hop International World Championships (HHI Worlds) in Phoenix, Arizona.
Jessica is part of the Space Pro Team, a Tauranga-based dance crew heading to the world’s biggest and most competitive hip hop dance event. While the team placed an impressive 5th at last year’s event, this year is extra special for Jessica – it’s her first time competing in-person at HHI Worlds.
“I’ve been doing hip hop for about five years now and have always dreamed of going to Worlds,” Jessica says.
“I’m looking forward to everything – from the Opening Ceremony right through to the Grand Finals.”
Originally based in Wellington, Jessica made the big call to travel to Tauranga for auditions at Space Studios late last year – a move that paid off. She’s been putting in the hard mahi with the team ever since, supported not only by her grandad and his partner Pauline, but also by a wonderful group of Space Studio mums – Hannah, Tammy, Kelly, and Michelle – who generously opened their homes to Jessica during longer training blocks. That sense of whānau and support has helped make this journey possible.
This sponsorship is especially meaningful to us because Jessica’s mum, Leigh, is part of our own team – our valued Service Delivery Manager who brings the same dedication to her role as Jess brings to the stage.
This isn’t her first experience with HHI – Jessica previously competed in the online version of the competition during COVID – but this year marks her first time dancing live at the in-person event.
We’re thrilled to be supporting her on this journey and can’t wait to see her and the Space Pro Team light up the international stage.
From all of us here at ConveyIT – good luck Jess – we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
